Stafford and Cannock Chase Hospitals - Public Question Times

27 November 2012

Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust, which runs both Stafford and Cannock Chase Hospitals, will be holding two public ‘Question Time’ events in December.
Local people are invited to come along to hear from the Trust Board about what is going on at the hospitals and meet the Contingency Planning Team who are carrying out the Independent Review of Clinical Services for Monitor.
The second half of the evening will be devoted to questions from the public.
Lyn Hill-Tout, Chief Executive said “Last time we held similar events in the community, it was great to see so many local people coming along to question us directly and we hope they will take this opportunity again. This time they will also have the chance to put questions and views directly to the contingency planning team.”
Professor John Caldwell, Chairman added “I would really encourage local people to come along and let us know what their views and pose the questions they feel need to be answered.”
The events will be held on:
  • Tuesday 4 December 2012: The Ballroom, Civic Suite, Cannock Chase Council, Beecroft Road, Cannock.
  • Monday 10 December  2012: Kingston Centre, Fairway, Stafford ST16 3TW
Both events start at 7pm and finish by 9pm. Doors open at 6.45pm and no tickets are needed.
The Trust will be holding more similar events in other locations in the region in early 2013.
