The Library, Education and Resource Centre is situated at the Postgraduate Medical Centre in the grounds of Stafford Hospital. It is located in the old chapel next to the Postgraduate Medical Centre, and along with a comprehensive selection of books, it includes DVDs and NHS network computers, WIFI access, free to access modern laptop computers and a dedicated high-speed internet connection.
The Library offers various free training sessions to staff, on journal searching, information skills and many other subjects as well as one-to-one sessions where you can request help with searching and evaluating information resources, both in traditional journals and more modern electronic, internet based resources.
The Library holds a main library stock of over 2700 books and over 1000 journals both in paper and electronic format. The Library also has access to over 400 e-books accessable using the Library laptops, desktop PCs or at home.
